Who we are
Car Detailing Stockport is a mobile car detailing service covering Stockport and Greater Manchester. You can reach us by phone on +44 7375 759686 or through WhatsApp. For anything covered in this policy, we are the data controller for the personal information you share with us.
What we collect
When you call, message or send our quote form, we receive the details you choose to give us: your name, your phone number, information about your vehicle, where the vehicle is located, and the content of your messages — including any photos of your car that you send to help us quote accurately.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, arrange appointments and carry out the detailing services you book, and to keep basic business records of work done. Our lawful bases under UK data protection law are legitimate interests and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not pass it to marketing companies. Quote requests sent through this website are delivered to us via WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta — messages are handled under WhatsApp's own privacy terms while in transit. We would only disclose information beyond this where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and booking details are kept only for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, complete any work and meet ordinary business record-keeping needs. You can ask us to delete your details sooner, and we will do so unless we are required to keep them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, and to restrict or object to how we use it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our contact page. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
This website is a simple information and enquiry site. It may use cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to function and stay secure. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles. If that changes in future, we will update this policy and say so here.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy from time to time; the current version will always be the one published on this page. If you have any questions about how Car Detailing Stockport handles your data, call us on +44 7375 759686 or reach us through the contact page.
